This morning I thought that the air would smell like spring, but it smelled indecisive. The world looks like spring, everything is green or getting there, but it doesn’t really feel like it. I was still wearing my winter coat this week, so maybe that’s the reason that I can’t feel the spring being here yet.
This morning I’ve spotted the first flower in our flower patch. The plant is very big and sturdy, but look at this delicate flower. I can’t wait for this patch to be fully in bloom. It’s one big pollinators playground and I love sitting next to it with a book and listening to them zooming around. Creating this stroke of flowers was one of the best garden decisions we’ve made.
I still want more trees and bushes in both gardens. Lucky for us some trees are planting themselves, we have three new trees in our garden without us doing anything about it. My husband says that he wants our front garden to be so wild that the bears would want to move in and I agree. I don’t want a perfect lawn, nor designed garden, I want nature to have fun in it.
Happy Sunday!
"My husband says that he wants our front garden to be so wild that the bears would want to move in and I agree." Love this sentiment. Wild gardens!
