Morning Stories: good mornings

Good reads, good breakfasts, good weather

A bit of sunshine and a promise of a dry day. It means that I’ll go by bike to work today. I feel lazy and would rather go by car, but I also know that I’ll feel better for it when I go by bike. Especially at the end of the day.

My reading view has two magnolias in it and it makes me very happy. I’ve spent most of my yesterday in this spot, smiling every time I pulled my eyes off the page. Which wasn’t easy, because the book I was reading was quite a ride.

This morning will be all about Demon Copperhead. And a good breakfast, of course. I’m thinking about scramble eggs with chives as we have some already in our garden.

This is promising to be a good start to the day. Good read (at least this is what I’ve been told), good breakfast, sunshine and probably some cat cuddles. I want all my mornings to be like this. And to tell you the truth they mostly are. I’ve found a prefect morning routine and I only change anything if I can’t avoid a morning meeting (I’ll never understand why all the meetings need to be scheduled in the mornings, starting my working day with a meeting makes me grumpy, but this is a story for another day, or for never).
