The wind blew tears out of my eyes when I went to the garden for my morning instastory. It’s funny how it’s the same view every morning, but it is still different every day. I love this view and it makes me dream of living even more remotely.
The pear tree is in bloom, finally. Last year it was already in bloom a couple of weeks earlier. The rosemary is blooming too, but it’s a bit too early as there are not that many pollinators yet and it was a big hit with them last year.
We have three new trees in the gardens to watch closely this year. Also some bushes and other plants, which we’ve got from a lovely couple in our village. We’re not done yet. There’s much more space to be filled with more trees and bushes and plants. We want more, so that our front garden can be a small forest.
I’ve been watching the nature closely for any sign of life for weeks already. I’m a little bit impatient when it comes to spring. I want it here and I want it now. Some plants are already fully green and others are taking their sweet time to wake up. I love how spring makes me pay attention to the world around me. I notice every new bud, every new leaf, the smallest growth. Every change catches my eye. The world is waking up and I’m waking up with it too.
How are you? Has the spring arrived yet where you are?
Morning Stories: paying attention
This is such a lovely peaceful photo. Where in the world is it?
Anna, I love your Morning Stories, but they don’t pop up in my feed like the main newsletters. Do I need to change a setting somewhere? 😘
