Morning Stories: Reading weekend

Worrying, bad sleep and books coming to the rescue

This morning I wish I was a person who worries less, especially about things I can’t do anything about. I wish I could say ‘what will be, will be’ and wait and see what happens, accept it and move on. Maybe then I wouldn’t walk with a headache for a week and bring my tinnitus back, which keeps me awake at night.

Yesterday was all about reading and I’m planning to do the same today, with some washing thrown in. Books keep my thoughts away from the things that keep me worried, so I can relax a bit.

But first some stretching, it is needed after this bad night of turning, tossing and finding a way to not hear what only I can hear.
