Morning Stories: The Beginning
Not really a morning story, but it's 1st of January and the morning comes later on this day.
Start as you mean to go on may be the worst advise ever. Just imagine yourself wanting to exercise for an hour every day at some point. And so, following this advice, you start with an hour a day. Even though I’m not a sport coach, I can tell you it’s not a great idea. You need to build up to it, you need to build your strength, your endurance. Only then, after many shorter trainings, you’ll be able to build up to this hour.
I’d say, just start somewhere. Begin with what you want to be doing, not with how you want to be doing it. If you’ll begin, you’ll work out your way to how. If you begin with how, you may overwhelm yourself and never get to where you want to be.
And this is my only resolution for this year. Trying, doing, less thinking, more action. A year in motion.
