Morning Stories: The green view
Cold days, the return of the blankets and new rhythms
The autumn is definitely here, but my view turned fierce green. If it wasn’t for the trees with silver glow at the river’s edge I could think it’s spring again.
The change of weather was quite abrupt so I’m still not putting enough layers before going outside and I’m often too cold. But I’ll take it over the heat and draught we had in the last couple of months. The blankets are out and I like the cosiness they bring with them. Alice is happy too and she curls up on my lap any time she gets the chance.
I’ve started a new job last Thursday and am finding a new rhythm to my days. I work half days most of the time and only three or four days a week, but it’s still an adjustment and I need to find my way into it. The first days at work were chaotic and it feels like it infected me a little bit. I hope it will all settle into a nice rhythm soon.
I have trouble writing today so I’ll leave it at that.
I hope you’ve had a good week.
Have a lovely Sunday!
