Morning Stories: Too much light
Waking up late, missing darkness and a good book
I woke up just before nine this morning. I lay in bed, not wanting to get up, feeling very tired. It’s this time of the year when I constantly feel tired. It’s the light and not experiencing full darkness. I’ve written about it before:
Lucky for me, it’s beginning to get dark around ten o’clock right now, my bedtime, so I’m expecting to feel less tired soon. But I also can’t wait for the time when I can experience the darkness even more than a couple of minutes before going to bed.
Today will be a quiet day. I’ll do my workout in a minute and then I’ll spend my day reading and enjoying my day off.
Talking about reading, have you read Underbelly by Anna Whitehouse? I’ve finished it a couple of days ago and I can’t stop thinking about the truth it shows. We’ve become a very weird society.
Have a love Sunday!
I am looking forward to embrassing darkness as an old, calm friend, who has no expectations. 🌚
